numerous events and attractions. Students who live on IU's campus are just
a short walk from the hundreds of unique restaurants and eateries, art
exhibits, festivals, and shopping downtown on Kirkwood Avenue.
Nearby Lake Monroe, Lake Griffy, and Lake Lemon provide ample
opportunities for water sports. The area's forests and parks are popular
with hikers, bikers, and campers.
